Job summary
EKG Security, Inc. in Pooler, GA is seeking a Security Flex Officer to provide reliable, unarmed protection across client sites. You will perform fixed and roving patrols and deliver top-tier customer service as a professional ambassador.
The role requires 18+ years old, a valid driver’s license, and 2+ years in security or military/LEO, with strong English communication. Training, growth opportunities, and flexible hours are offered.
Qualifications
- 18+ years old or the minimum age required by the state.
- Customer service experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or GED; associate’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of security experience and/or military/LEO.
- Great communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge to operate the radio, telephone, and console monitors.
- Authorization to legally work in the United States.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Access to reliable transportation that allows for short-notice response throughout the service area.
- Ability to complete crisis prevention training and site-specific training before serving as a qualified security officer.
- Ability to pass any state-required training or other qualifications for licensing.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (8+ hours).
- Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to reach over your head with 10-25 lb loads.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs, with loads up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and use ladders.
- Ability to work at a desk and use a keyboard.
- Ability to work any shift, 24 hours per day, seven days per week, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
