Job summary

Immanuel Living is seeking a full-time security/maintenance assistant to patrol facilities, respond to emergencies, and help maintain safe living environments for residents. Duties include monitoring doors, elevators, and alarms, performing light repairs, and assisting with daily operations and event setup.

The role requires basic English, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a resident-centered setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic CPR/First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the buildings and grounds, including exterior rounds.
• Respond to emergency calls from residents and fires; monitor security systems.
• Check doors, exits, elevators, and stairwells for proper operation.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and light repairs as needed.
• Shovel snow, manage ice, and maintain walkways and entrances.
• Assist with daily housekeeping duties and setup for events.
• Document incidents and communicate with supervisor in a timely manner.
