Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is seeking an experienced Security and IT Event Support (Military Operations Analyst 2) for Joint Staff J7, JWED at the Suffolk, VA complex. This role supports planning, coordination, execution and assessment of security operations for events and wartime experiments.

Requires TS/SCI clearance, mid-level experience, and ability to coordinate across military, government, industry and partner organizations.

Qualifications

• 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years’ experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
• Clearance: Possess and maintain an active TS/SCI Security Clearance or higher.
• Foreign Disclosure Representative (FDR): governance, processing, and evaluation of information-sharing initiatives with foreign governments and multinational partners.
• ETMS2: SME coordinating tasker coordination, routing, suspense management, and guidance on ETMS2 processes.
• Technical Support: planning and coordinating technical requirements for exercises, events across enclaves and AV systems management.
• Removable Media Custodian (RMC): authorized custodian for data transfers between enclaves.
• Government Purchase Card / Procurement Support: prepare documentation and coordinate receipt of non-network equipment.
• Event & Project Coordination: coordinate schedules, facilities, logistics, and admin support for major events.
• Proficiency with common office productivity and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and security for events by analyzing mission requirements, environments, resources, timelines, and risks.
• Develop and maintain planning products: event plans, matrices, battle rhythm, tools, trackers, risk registers, and timelines.
• Coordinate across military, government, industry and partners for integrated security planning.
• Assist Security Officer with security requirements, access control, classification, and participant validation.
• Investigate and report security incidents and assist with corrective action documentation.
• Track actions, suspense dates, dependencies, and escalate significant concerns.
• Manage permissions and information-sharing across enclaves with classification controls.
• Support Knowledge Management including SharePoint and Teams administration.
