Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a Facilities Operation Specialist to support IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

You will manage facility security systems, operate AVIGILON ESS, monitor and report system status, and troubleshoot security components while coordinating with security and engineering teams to keep 24/7 operations secure.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of related education/experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate facility security systems for access control, IDS and surveillance.
• Operate ESS and support investigations.
• Monitor and report status of security systems to the manager.
• Respond, troubleshoot, repair, and triage security components.
• Perform routine maintenance and modernization of system components.
• Coordinate with security and network teams to manage security networks.
• Coordinate maintenance of physical security equipment and access badges.
• Assist with annual physical security inspection of facility perimeters.
• Support configuration management of facility data closet equipment.
• Provide written reports and coordinate troubleshooting with admins and engineers.
