The role emphasizes building a collaborative security program, hands-on architecture, and incident response leadership, with a focus on Azure security, IAM, and governance across the organization. This is a working leadership role that influences standards and tooling.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree related to Computer Science, Business, or Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Eight or more years in security engineering or security operations, incl. at least two years in leadership.
• Expertise in incident response, security operations, SIEM management, and policy creation.
• Depth in Azure security including IAM, network controls, and native tooling.
• Vulnerability and patch management at enterprise scale across teams.
• Experience mapping security solutions to business requirements.
• Familiarity with NIST/CIS frameworks and audits.
• Scripting and automation in PowerShell or Python; CI/CD/IaC familiarity.

Aufgaben

• Lead, hire, and develop a team of security engineers with clear standards.
• Lead cybersecurity engineering initiatives and assess systems to determine defenses.
• Own design and operation of core security controls (identity, endpoint, network, cloud, email, data).
• Manage IAM architecture, provisioning, reviews and reporting.
• Oversee vulnerability management, patching, and SLAs with partners.
• Mature detection engineering and incident response capabilities; manage MSSP relationships.
• Create and maintain security policies aligned to NIST CSF; keep current.
