Taskrabbit in New York is seeking a pragmatic security leader who acts as a business enabler, not a gatekeeper. You’ll manage a lean security engineering team, drive compliance and risk programs, and partner with product, legal, and IT to raise the security bar across the platform.

You’ll define security strategy for cloud, data, and AI/ML integrations, build measurable goals, and communicate security priorities with clarity to executives and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and managing security teams.
• Proven track record of achieving a security framework from scratch (SOC2, ISO27001).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with CIS, GDPR, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of security engineers.
• Integrate security tooling across infra and apps.
• Develop data-driven security strategies with OKRs and KPIs.
• Manage compliance with CIS, SOC2, GDPR.
• Lead pragmatic incident response efforts.
