Job summary

Robots & Pencils is seeking a seasoned AWS AI Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade generative and agentic AI systems on AWS. You will architect scalable, secure platforms using Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, AWS Strands Agents, and related services.

As a strategic technical advisor, you translate ambiguity into AWS-native architectures, validate designs through prototyping in Python, and ensure alignment with the AWS Well-Architected Framework while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering required.
• 10+ years in software or cloud architecture with deep AWS ownership.
• Proven track record designing enterprise-grade AI platforms on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework and security best practices.
• Excellent communication with technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of generative and agentic AI systems on AWS from discovery to production.
• Create AWS reference architectures and ADRs aligned to business goals.
• Prototype feasibility using Bedrock SDKs, SageMaker, and serverless services.
• Mentor delivery teams and enforce governance, security, and cost controls.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams across NA.
