Job summary

Check Point Software Technologies in the United States is seeking a senior Telco Pre-Sales Engineer to support account managers, partners, and customers in driving Telco product sales. You will design enterprise network security solutions and deliver compelling technical presentations.

The role requires 8+ years in networking, extensive Check Point experience, and relevant certifications. A BS in EE/CS or equivalent, and US work eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• BS, EE/CS degree or technical certificate, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in networking standards and protocols (Ethernet, routing, UNIX, IP addressing).
• Solid network security and endpoint security knowledge.
• Experience in Telecom, Cable, Wireless preferred.
• Exposure to Cloud Architecture, 5G and IoT Technologies a plus.
• Extensive Check Point experience required.
• Check Point CCSE, CISSP or GIAC preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support to Account Managers, Telco/MSSP partners and customers to drive sales of Telco products, services and solutions
• Support the Telco Sales organization to drive business from direct customers or thru Partner network
• Perform technical design work related to enterprise network security for partners and customers
• Give technical presentations to technical and non-technical audiences and support trade shows, marketing events, and beta management
• Hold ongoing technical training and sales education sessions with Partners
• Be a mentor within the Security Engineer community

Job Description

• Provide pre-sales technical support to Check Point Account Managers, Check Point Telco/MSSP partners and Check Point customers to drive sales of our Telco Products, Services and Solutions

Qualifications

• BS, EE/CS degree or technical school certificate or equivalent experience

• Solid network security experience and endpoint security knowledge


• Experience in Telecom, Cable, Wireless would be highly desired

• Check Point CCSE certification, CISSP, and/or GIAC preferred
