Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Security Engineer II to protect our cloud platforms, GPU clusters, and production environments. You will investigate findings, triage threats, and work with engineering to resolve causes.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of security experience with hands‑on work in operations, cloud security, detection and response, or forensics.
• Ability to triage findings and alerts, distinguishing real risk from noise.
• Working knowledge of cloud security posture management in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with logging, SIEM, and detection tooling and telemetry needs.
• Experience with incident response and digital forensics, including timelines and root‑cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Cloud posture and findings review across CSPM and security tooling; assess impact and assign severity.
• Production threat triage: determine reality, urgency, and blast radius; escalate when needed.
• Log and telemetry coverage across cloud, Kubernetes, hosts, and services; close gaps with teams.
• Forensics and investigation: reconstruct incidents, document scope, and support root‑cause analysis.
