Nscale is seeking a Security Engineer II to safeguard our cloud platforms, GPU clusters, and production environments. You will investigate findings, separate risk from noise, and collaborate with engineering to remediate causes.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of security experience in security operations, cloud security, or incident response and forensics.
• Practical experience triaging findings and alerts and distinguishing real risk from noise.
• Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud posture management and common misconfigurations.
• Familiarity with logging, SIEM, and telemetry needed to detect and investigate threats.
• Exposure to incident response and digital forensics, including timelines and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review cloud security posture findings and validate them against live environments.
• Triage security alerts in production, classify urgency, and escalate when needed.
• Ensure comprehensive log and telemetry coverage across cloud, Kubernetes, hosts, and services.
• Reconstruct incidents, determine scope and impact, and contribute to post-incident reviews.
