1X is hiring a Product Security Engineer in San Carlos, CA to protect NEO’s stack from boot to cloud. You will audit code and systems, lead end-to-end security initiatives, and perform threat modeling and penetration testing against robotics platforms and supporting infra.

You will design secure-by-default architectures, work across hardware, firmware, and software, and contribute to secure update pipelines with CI/CD. Strong Linux security expertise is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product security or related engineering role
• Experience with Linux security mechanisms and least-privilege design
• Proficiency in C/C++, Rust, Go or Python and code auditing
• Penetration testing on real production systems
• Security expertise in secure boot, PKI, cloud, and CI/CD

Responsabilités

• Audit code and systems across NEO stack to drive remediation
• Lead security initiatives end-to-end with cross-functional teams
• Conduct penetration tests, threat models, risk assessments
• Design and contribute production code for security-critical components
• Define security architecture for provisioning, deployment, updates at scale
