Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer for Security Escalations to lead cross-team security improvements and drive scalable incident response and automation efforts in a cloud-first environment.

You will leverage AI-enabled tooling to improve threat detection, triage, and autonomous incident response while collaborating with multiple locations and leadership to deliver measurable security outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years identifying security issues and risks and developing mitigation plans.
• 3+ years scripting, programming, and security code review in common languages.
• Experience mentoring or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead security escalation efforts and coordinate remediation at scale.
• Collaborate across teams to drive long-term security enhancements.
• Develop executive-level reporting on project status and outcomes.
• chair weekly security meetings with senior leadership and capture actions.
• Identify security requirements and raise security posture with service teams.
