Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells is seeking a Hybrid Security/EMS Provider responsible for the safety of guests, associates, vendors, and property across all resort venues and facilities.

You will patrol lobbies, grounds, and common areas, document incidents, and provide first aid while coordinating with supervisors. English fluency, a valid driver’s license, and Red Cross certifications are required; in-house certification for oxygen administration will be provided.

Qualifications

• Hotel or Resort experience is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• A valid driver's license in the state of employment.
• Current American Red Cross licenses: First Aid, Basic Life Support CPR or CPR for Professional Rescuers, AED, Emergency Oxygen Administration (will certify in-house).
• Recommended American Red Cross – Emergency Medical Responder; NREMT – Emergency Medical Responder.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and safe and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Patrol all lobbies, floors, common areas, associate areas, basement, and grounds of Kalahari Resorts.
• Check in with the shift supervisor and/or manager-on-duty on arrival, review security logs and reports daily.
• Apply first aid procedures as needed for any person(s).
• Make sure first aid logs and incident reports are filled out.
• Keep an open line of communication with all departments and keep them posted on what is happening in the department as much as possible.

Security/EMS Provider

We are inviting you to apply for the Hybrid Security/EMS Provider position. In this role you are responsible for the safety of guests, associates, vendors, contractors, and other persons in all aquatic and dry attractions, public areas, convention center, resort rooms, student housing, restaurants, parking lots, and other resort property while on duty, applying life-saving skills and first aid to any person (s) in need.
