Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living in Springfield, Virginia, is seeking a Security & Emergency Services Officer to help keep our vibrant community safe and thriving. You will patrol the campus, greet guests at the gatehouse, respond to non-emergency needs, and support residents with a friendly, trusted presence.

After 45 days, you will participate in the EMR program and receive EMR certified training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Current and valid driver’s license (good driving record)
• Prior experience in security preferred
• Ability to document daily activities clearly and concisely
• Professional, responsive interactions with residents and staff

Responsibilities

• Participate in routine interior and exterior patrols of buildings and grounds
• Conduct safety checks supporting Life Safety and OSHA compliance
• Receive and respond to non-emergency service calls from dispatch by radio or phone
• Assist in community emergencies (fires, severe weather, evacuations)
• Screen visitors and vendors; issue parking passes and directions
