Job summary

Woodleigh Chase by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) to implement security programs and provide outreach within the community.

Starting compensation is $21–$23 per hour, full-time with options for Flex or PRN. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is paid within the first 90 days, with shifts 7 AM–7 PM and 7 PM–7 AM on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Current EMR and CPR certifications; higher level certs acceptable with EMR within 30 days.
• Experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of the property and respond to emergency and routine calls.
• Enforce traffic and parking regulations.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care using basic interventions.
• Complete detailed incident reports via the online system.

Join our Woodleigh Chase team as a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) at our gated retirement community. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our Security and Emergency Services programs and providing outreach within the community.

Compensation: Starting at $21 - Max at $23, Per hour. Based on experience, paid Bi-Weekly!

Schedule: 7AM - 7PM & 7PM - 7AM | Full Time, Flex or PRN Available

Sign-On Bonus: $1000! Paid out within your first 90 days!

How you will make an impact

• Perform regular patrols of the property, provide relief staffing for the gatehouse, and respond to emergency and routine calls for service
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations
• Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care utilizing all basic interventions
• Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, and other potential criminal activity
• Utilize local police, fire, and EMS; effectively during emergencies.
• Complete thorough and detailed incident reports using our online report system

What you will need

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Prior experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services is preferred
• Proactive, vigilant and detail-oriented approaches with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency and effectiveness
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification and CPR certification. (Higher level certification/licensure is acceptable as a condition of hire, however, new hires will be required to obtain EMR certification within 30 days).
