Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures and site policies, including emergency response when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel or responders.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols throughout retail areas, parking lots, tenant spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security issues.
• Assist with access control, visitor guidance, directions, and customer-service requests while maintaining a professional presence.
