Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization Driver in La Porte, Texas. You will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain security for a chemical/petrochemical location, while driving as required.

Responsibilities include patrols, incident response, documentation, and collaboration with site personnel. A valid driver's license and TSA TWIC are required, with additional licensing as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct individuals per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and promptly communicate observations to site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Document daily activities, access-related events, incidents, and irregularities in required reports and logs.
