Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site-specific security procedures and access-control requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report observations through established channels.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas and perimeters; document activity and potential violations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries per site requirements.
• Deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity by maintaining a professional presence and following escalation procedures.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Security Clearance Vehicle Operations in Portsmouth, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Active DoD Secret Clearance. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, documenting unusual activity and potential policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity by maintaining a professional presence and following established escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
