Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol in Suffolk, VA. You will conduct unarmed patrols, maintain presence to deter incidents, and deliver customer service at an aerospace/defense site.

Active DoD Top Secret clearance is required, with a background check and drug screen as standard procedures. Position is Full Time with a pay rate of $21.01 per hour.

As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol in Suffolk, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. At a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. Pay Rate: $21.01 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 11:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report irregular conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate security-related observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
