Job summary

Prairie Meadows is seeking a dispatch team member for the security department to help keep Iowa's No. 1 entertainment destination running smoothly.

You will work behind the scenes in the dispatch role, handling calls, coordinating with vendors, and operating multiple communication systems. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of full-time experience, with strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to write routine reports at a minimum 35 words

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years full-time experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to write routine reports and maintain 35+ wpm typing.
• Data entry and computer experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls including employee communications, emergencies, service requests, and public inquiries.
• Manage employee entrances and coordinate with outside vendors on arrival.
• Operate dispatch systems, radio consoles, telephones, and computer programs.
• Obtain information and dispatch or notify staff accordingly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
