Job summary

Prairie Meadows in Iowa’s No. 1 entertainment destination is seeking a dispatch team member for the security department. You’ll work behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly during the overnight shift.

Shifts are 11pm–7am with Sundays and Mondays off; compensation starts at $19.50 per hour, with paid options daily, weekly, or biweekly. Strong communication and the ability to handle calls, entrances, and vendor coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of full-time work experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to write routine reports and provide clear written copy at a minimum of 35 words per minute.
• Data entry and/or computer experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. is required.

• Answering all calls including employee communications, emergencies, service requests, and public inquiries.
• Manage employee entrances and communicate with outside vendors upon arrival.
• Operating a variety of communication equipment including computer dispatch systems, radio consoles, telephones, and computer programs.
