Job summary

Northfield Park Racino is seeking a Security Dispatcher to serve as the central communications hub for the Security Department, relaying information between Officers and Management. You will manage a multi-line dispatch center, handle radio and telephone messages, and make quick decisions during emergencies.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year of customer service or security experience, and proficiency with computer reporting. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a security dispatch training course.
• 1+ year of customer service or security-related experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor cameras, access control systems, and alarms to identify threats and respond promptly.
• Coordinate and direct security officers to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Maintain coordination with the Global Security Operations Center.
• Operate radios and telephones to relay critical information between teams and management.
• Maintain accurate real-time logs of incidents and security activities for reporting.
• Follow established protocols during emergencies and coordinate with local authorities.
• Liaise with law enforcement and EMS as needed, providing information during incidents.
• Own dispatch calls for service, including security and lost & found items, and coordinate with other departments.
• Assist investigations by locating and retrieving relevant video footage for evidence.
