Job summary

Community Health Network in Fishers, Indiana is seeking a Security Dispatcher to coordinate safety and security actions. You will monitor safety situations for patients, staff, and visitors while providing effective communication and response during emergencies.

Security Dispatcher

The Security Dispatcher works as a pivotal member to coordinate Safety and Security department actions provided to patients, visitors, and employees of Community Health Network. The Security Dispatcher monitors and provides appropriate immediate response to all public safety, property protection, risk management, customer and staff education, investigations, parking, and security contract services situations affecting Community Health Network.

• Ability to work in potential high stress emergencies to coordinate security resources
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and/or equivalent experience in Public Safety preferred
• Previous security, law enforcement or central station operations experience preferred
• Must successfully complete Central Dispatch Officer written and practical testing after the training period is completed
