Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is looking for a Security Dispatch professional to manage daily operations of the security communications center, monitor CCTV and alarms, and respond to emergency and visitor calls while maintaining accurate activity logs.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of related experience, with strong public relations and written/verbal communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Two (2) years of experience in the field as a 911 operator or as a Security/Police Dispatcher, or related law enforcement or security experience.
• Must possess excellent public relations/customer service skills and able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Must possess multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

Daily operation of Security Dispatch (communication center). Effective pro-active monitoring of CCTV systems. Answers all 3911 emergency calls. Screening of after hour visitors using Star system to verify patient information. Required to communicate with visitors, staff, physicians, patients and family members.What you will do
