Job Purpose:- The Security Dispatcher at MARC SECURITY SERVICES INC. is responsible for coordinating and managing the dispatch of security personnel to various locations, ensuring efficient and timely response to incidents and requests. This role is crucial in maintaining the safety and security of our clients' premises by effectively managing communication and logistics.Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and respond to security alarms and emergency calls, ensuring prompt dispatch of security personnel.- Coordinate with security officers to ensure coverage at all client locations and manage shift schedules.- Maintain detailed records of all incidents, dispatches, and communications for future reference and reporting.- Communicate effectively with clients, security staff, and law enforcement agencies to provide accurate information and updates.- Utilize security dispatch software and systems to track personnel movements and manage resources efficiently.- Conduct regular checks and tests of communication equipment to ensure operational readiness.- Assist in the training and development of new dispatchers, providing guidance on protocols and procedures.- Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving dispatch operations and response times.Required Education:- High school diploma or equivalent required.- Additional certification in security management or related field preferred.Required Experience:- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security or dispatch role.- Proven track record of managing emergency situations effectively.- Experience in using security communication systems and technology.Required Skills and Abilities:- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.- Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to security dispatch operations.- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with security personnel and law enforcement agencies.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures, with the ability to implement them effectively.
