AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Software Engineer to support a national security program. You will develop and maintain custom apps and scripts across Linux-based platforms, implement automation with Ansible, and work with Docker containers.

Strong communication with internal teams and external partners is essential. Applicants should have 3+ years in Rust/Python, and experience with Linux environments, Agile development, and scalable architectures.

Qualificações

• Active TS/SCI w/polygraph.
• Demonstrated 3+ years of experience using Rust and/or Python to develop applications and services.
• Experience with Rust strongly preferred; ability to learn new languages quickly.
• Demonstrated experience implementing automation tools using Ansible.
• Demonstrated experience implementing custom apps using Docker containers.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining custom application code bases.
• Strong written/verbal communications and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work well in a team and as an individual contributor.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and/or modify custom applications and scripts across multiple platforms.
• Maintain custom software applications and services.
• Recommend and implement improvements to existing software solutions.
• Maintain system architecture for versatility and consistency across platforms.
• Provide input to software configuration, docs, roadmaps, and updates.
• Attend meetings and reviews.
• Communicate with internal teams, program manager, and customer teams.
• Coordinate with mission partners and vendors as required.
