Job summary

UltraViolet Cyber is seeking an Automation Data Integration Engineer to support DHS in Washington, DC. You will design and maintain automated data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and dashboards to reduce manual work and improve risk visibility across security tools.

You will ingest data from APIs, databases, and IoT sources, automate transformations, and ensure data quality with automated tests and real‑time alerts.

Qualifications

• BS/BA plus 8+ years in data integration/automation
• Proven experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect
• Strong programming skills in Python/SQL
• Experience with APIs, databases, and data lakes/warehouses

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain cybersecurity automations, connectors, data pipelines, and dashboards to reduce manual effort and improve risk visibility.
• Create and manage end‑to‑end pipelines ingesting data from diverse sources and deliver it to data warehouses or lakes.
• Automate ETL/ELT processes to ensure data is clean and ready for analysis.
• Implement automated tests, anomaly detection, and real‑time alerts for data integrity.
• Coordinate with teams to schedule and manage data jobs using Airflow or Prefect.
• Build self‑healing pipelines that retry failed tasks and scale resources as needed.
• Run scripts to detect anomalies, impute missing values, or mask sensitive data.
• Implement CI/CD for data pipelines.
