Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Engineer I to join the Security Data Intelligence team. You will build and maintain data pipelines powering security analytics across Amazon, working with guidance from senior engineers to deliver reliable, well-documented solutions on schedule.

Collaborate with ASE, BizOps, MapSec and other security groups to ingest data, model datasets, optimize pipelines, and ensure security compliance. You will write secure code, review changes, and participate in on-call incidents.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience with one or more query language (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala).
• Experience with one or more scripting language (e.g., Python, KornShell).

Responsibilities
