Job summary

Amazon is seeking a security-focused software engineer to help design and implement hyper-scale data processing pipelines within Defensive Security. You will work on architecture reviews, feature development in Java and Python using AWS services, and reliability improvements that support global security management teams.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to shape scalable security solutions and adopt best practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new or existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software language such as Java, C++, or C#

Responsibilities

• Architecture design and review
• Software feature development using AWS services (S3, Lambda, SQS, Fargate/ECS, EMR, Spark)
• Aim for high operational excellence and reliability
