Job summary

enGen seeks an experienced security data architect to design and engineer secure data solutions spanning cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. You will partner with security, data engineering, cloud, and application teams to develop scalable data platforms and protection capabilities that enable secure data use and governance.

The role requires strong experience in security architecture, data governance, encryption, and API security, with responsibility for assessments, gaps, and practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years' experience architecting solutions.
• 5-7 years' experience in Information Security.
• Experience communicating with business partners.
• 7-10 years' experience architecting solutions (preferred).
• Experience designing or supporting cloud data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, or large scale data processing environments.
• Experience with data engineering technologies such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, or similar platforms.
• Experience securing cloud platforms in GCP, Azure, or AWS.
• Experience implementing encryption, tokenization, data masking, data governance, or data protection solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect and engineer secure data solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
• Produce security architecture assessments and mitigation plans.
• Advise stakeholders on design, implementation, and operation of data and security technologies.
• Plan and implement security controls for identity, access, encryption, and data exchange.
• Mentor team members and contribute to security best practices.
• Support compliance with HITRUST, ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL.
• Collaborate with security, data engineering, cloud, and application teams.
