Silent Professionals is seeking a Director of Security in Washington, D.C. for a hybrid on-site and remote role. Responsibilities include overseeing cybersecurity and physical security operations, plus training programs for the organization.

The role targets senior experience in executive protection and security leadership with a discretionary development budget. Ideal candidates have extensive executive protection experience, including solo practitioner work, and are legally authorized to work

Qualifications

• 5+ years in military, law enforcement, or private security.
• 3+ years executive protection with 1 year solo practitioner.
• Experience organizing security/self-defense trainings and drills.
• Responsible for physical security planning for an organization.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cybersecurity infrastructure and phishing response.
• Manage physical office safety; access control and emergency planning.
• Lead team training: self-defense, firearms safety, drills, first aid.
• Vet third-party instructors and coordinate training.
• Draft and maintain security and emergency protocols.
