Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (JP) in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Security Coordinator to process employee and guest badges, security clearances, and access permissions. The role requires an active Secret clearance and US citizenship, plus a high school diploma with related security experience.

Applicants must be able to work rotating shifts and be proficient in MS Office. Preferred experience includes LENEL, One Badge, and SIMS systems.

Qualifications

• Current Active Secret clearance.
• US Citizenship.
• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years education and/or Security related experience.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
• Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS).
• LENEL access system, One Badge, SIMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards.
• Process Personnel Security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control.
• Collect electronic fingerprints, handprints and optical reading into systems.
• Maintain parking/vehicle database and daily report (activity reports, visitor logs, etc.).
• Maintain lock and key records.
• Process visit authorizations for employees and guests to gain access.
• Verify accuracy of information prior to issuing clearances.
• Physical Security Support: bag inspections, occasionally empty proprietary bins.
