Job summary

SGMC Health is seeking a Security Coordinator to manage secure access to EMR and ERP systems across the SGMC Health network. You will oversee user provisioning, RBAC, and compliance with HIPAA and security policies, while supporting Epic and data migration initiatives.

You\'ll coordinate with IT, clinical operations, and compliance teams to ensure secure workflows, test interfaces, and maintain accounts for Infor and Epic.

Qualifications

• Epic security certification or proficiency within 3 months.
• Knowledge of ITSM processes (incident, change, and request management).
• Bachelor degree in a health care profession, MIS, or related degree preferred.
• At least four years computer experience with technical certification or equivalent.
• Ability to collaborate with IT, clinical, operational, and compliance teams to coordinate secure workflows.
• Strong knowledge of RBAC, user provisioning, access reviews, and system permissions.
• Understanding of interface engines, HL7, API security, and service account management.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain professionalism and high level of customer service.
• Adapt to new technologies and evolving security requirements.
• Data validation and accuracy during migrations or audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain secure access to EMR and ERP systems for all end users.
• Ensure proper user provisioning, RBAC, and access reviews.
• Support Epic system initiatives, including data migration activities and interfacing.
• Coordinate access, validate security requirements, and collaborate with IT, clinical, and compliance teams.
• Ensure that Infor and Epic accounts are securely created, maintained, and monitored for integrations.
• Lead project management of security-related upgrades, migrations, and workflow enhancements.
• Assist with broader system administration needs across the department.
