DSI Security Services is seeking a Security Control Center Specialist to monitor alarms, dispatch responders, and maintain communications at a high-profile client site. The role emphasizes calm, clear communication and strong computer skills in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule options include nights and weekends. The ideal candidate will multitask effectively, document meticulously, and work well both independently and as part of a team, ensuring safety and rapid response to incidents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in security, dispatch, or emergency communications preferred.
• Strong computer and documentation skills; ability to pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document security alarms, fire alarms, emergency notifications, and routine service calls.
• Dispatch security and emergency personnel as needed.
• Operate radio communication systems for internal security operations and emergency coordination.
• Monitor CCTV systems and remote cameras.
• Respond appropriately to emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Receive and relay routine and emergency telephone calls.
• Maintain visitor control records and related documentation.
• Complete security and emergency service reports accurately and professionally.
• Enforce site access procedures and security regulations.
• Support emergency response efforts including fire, medical, weather, and hazardous material incidents.
• Monitor severe weather and lightning detection systems.
• Conduct patrols and assist with additional security assignments as needed.
• Cross-train at additional security posts and positions.
