Job summary

APG Electric, a full-service electrical and systems contractor, seeks a Security Service & Construction Project Administrator to support the project management team. You will organize and manage project documentation, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and closeout packages, while coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and clients.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced with construction documentation and processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a construction or security contracting environment, ideally in a project administrative role.
• Strong knowledge of construction documentation and processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software (Autodesk ACC Build, Viewpoint, Bluebeam).
• AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with security systems or terminology is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to project managers and field supervisors for security projects.
• Prepare and manage contracts, submittals, RFIs, and closeout packages.
• Maintain and update project files and documentation logs.
• Track project schedules and deadlines, ensuring all documentation is submitted on time.
• Coordinate and communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients regarding project status and documentation.
• Assist in preparing Direct Owner Purchase billing and invoicing documentation.
• Help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and company safety policies.
• Organize and schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes as needed.
• Generating work orders.
• Invoice service tickets.
• Assist with permitting for several municipalities.
