Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Clayton, NC. You will provide customer service, monitor access points, and respond to emergencies while maintaining a visible security presence in a healthcare/plasma collection environment.

The role requires basic computer use, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a background check. You will complete activity logs and collaborate with site staff to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry according to facility procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and other critical situations and coordinate with site contacts and responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter and document observations.

You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, donors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies in a healthcare and plasma collection environment.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with facility procedures, helping to support an orderly environment for plasma collection operations.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions according to site procedures.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other security-related documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
