Job summary

Prosegur, headquartered in the United States, is seeking an on-site Regional Compliance & Audit Manager to develop and monitor employment compliance programs across California locations. The role partners with Operations, HR, Payroll, and branch leadership to ensure adherence to company policies and all applicable laws.

The position reports to the SVP, Operations - Guarding. Responsibilities include conducting audits, reviewing I-9 and onboarding documentation, wage/hour audits, and ensuring

Qualifications

  • Develop and implement employment compliance programs across locations.
  • Perform operational and HR compliance audits and identify risks.
  • Monitor wage-and-hour compliance, timekeeping, payroll, and notices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled and unannounced audits of branch operations for policy and legal compliance.
  • Audit personnel files, I-9 docs, licenses, certifications, notices, and onboarding records.
  • Review wage and hour practices including overtime, meal/rest periods, scheduling, and recordkeeping.
  • Monitor federal, state, and local employment laws; address California-specific requirements.
  • Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions to reduce risk.
  • Track findings and corrective action plans; report trends to regional leadership.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Operations, and Safety to resolve issues timely.
  • Communicate changes in employment laws and impact to leadership.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training for managers and supervisors.
  • Create compliance resources, audit tools, and SOPs; maintain documentation.
  • Monitor metrics such as training completion and wage-hour compliance.
  • Prepare regional compliance reports and present findings to leadership.
  • Support internal and external audits by regulators or leadership.

Job Skills / Requirements

The Regional Compliance & Audit Manageris responsible fordeveloping, implementing, andmonitoringemployment compliance programs across assigned locations. This position partners closely with Operations, Human Resources, Payroll, and branch leadership to ensure compliance with company policies, federal, state, and local employment laws, collective bargaining agreements, and client requirements. The Regional Compliance & Audit Manager conducts operational and HR compliance audits,identifiescompliance risks,monitorscorrective actions, and develops training programs that promote legal compliance and operational consistency throughout the region.

This position is based on-site at one of our California offices, located in Santa Clara, Los Angeles (LAX), Irvine, San Diego, or Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled and unannounced audits of branch operations to ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Audit personnel files, I-9 documentation, employee licensing, certifications,requirednotices, and onboarding documentation.
  • Conduct wage and hour audits including timekeeping, payroll, overtime, meal and rest periods, scheduling, and recordkeeping.
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including California labor requirements where applicable.
  • Review operational practices andidentifycompliance gaps, recommending corrective actions to minimize organizational risk.
  • Track audit findings, corrective action plans, and completion status while reporting trends to regional leadership.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Payroll, Operations, and Safety to ensure compliance issues are resolvedtimelyand consistently.
  • Monitor changes in employment laws and communicate operational impacts to regional leadership.
  • Develop, implement, and deliver compliance training programs for managers and supervisors.
  • Create compliance resources, job aids, audit tools, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting related to compliance reviews, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Monitor compliance metrics including corrective action completion, required training completion, wage and hour compliance.
  • Prepare regional compliance reports and present findings and recommendations to leadership.
  • Support internal and external audits conducted by regulatory agencies or corporate leadership.
