Prosegur seeks an Armed Security Operations Manager to oversee a single client site across all shifts in Bell Gardens, CA. The role requires strong leadership, client relations, and proven ability to manage scheduling, incident response, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will hold an armed security license, have 5–10 years of security experience with supervisory roles, and be proficient with CCTV/VMS and access control systems. Shift work includes all shifts with weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Directs the performance of a single client site across all shifts to ensure operational quality.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, client expectations, and regulatory standards.
• Serves as primary client contact; liaises between client, General Manager, and site teams.
• Oversees scheduling, timekeeping, and attendance to maintain proper site coverage.
• Reviews reports and logs for accuracy and timeliness per policy and client expectations.
• Responds to emergencies and incidents; provides oversight to supervisory personnel.
• Coaches and mentors team members to ensure accountability and professionalism.
• Promotes a positive client experience by open communication and proactive issue resolution.
• Participates in hiring and ongoing training of site personnel.
• Enforces policies and site procedures; ensures legal compliance.
• Monitors equipment readiness (radios, devices) and ensures readiness.
• Leads emergency response per site protocols and coordinates with authorities.
• Maintains post orders/SOPs and updates based on client feedback.
• Monitors training records, licenses, and certifications to stay compliant.
• Manages site inventory (badges, keys, PPE) and procurement requests.
• Drives continuous improvement and cost-effective scheduling.

Job Skills / Requirements

The Operations Manager report directly to the General Manager & oversees Armed & Unarmed Security Officers. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership skills, communication,& organizational skills & can manage both client relationships & on-site teams effectively

Directs the performance of a single client site across all shifts to ensure operational quality

Ensures compliance with Prosegur policies, client expectations, & regulatory standards

Serves as the primary point of contact for the client; conducts regular check-ins & service reviews. Liaison between the client, General Manager, & site teams across all shifts

Conducts routine inspections and quality checks across multiple posts and/or shifts to maintain property physical security and tenant/visitor safety; corrects deficiencies immediately & escalates issues when necessary

Oversees scheduling, timekeeping, & attendance to maintain proper site coverage & operational efficiency

Reviews reports, logs, & other documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness in accordance with company policy & customer expectations

Responds promptly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, operational issues; provides oversight & to supervisory personnel

Provides coaching, mentorship, & performance feedback to team members to ensure accountability & professionalism

Promotes a positive client experience by maintaining open communication & proactively resolving concerns

Participates in hiring & ongoing training of site personnel as needed

Enforces company policies & client site procedures consistently and fairly

Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and site-specific policies

Monitors and enforces compliance with uniform/appearance standards and equipment readiness (radios, POP smartphones, flashlights, AEDs)

Leads emergency response per site protocols (evacuations, medical emergencies, workplace violence, severe weather)

Directs coordination with law enforcement, EMS, and client stakeholders; preserves evidence and scene integrity

Maintains current post orders/SOPs; recommend updates based on lessons learned and client feedback

Monitors documentation and tracking for training, licenses, and certifications to ensure that officers remain fully compliant and job-ready

Monitors site inventory control (badges, keys, forms, PPE); approves and submits purchase/repair requests

Spearheads continuous improvement initiatives and cost-effective scheduling

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

5-10 years of security experience with 4+ years in a supervisory or role

Must possess and maintained an Armed Security Officer license/permit in accordance with state requirements

Active state security license/guard card or eligibility to obtain before start (California)

Ability to pass background/drug screening and motor vehicle records check

Supply and maintain a personally owned, approved firearm

Strong written/verbal communication; professional customer service demeanor; conflict resolution and descalation skills

Prior law enforcement, military, or armed security experience is strongly preferred

Proficiency with common security systems (CCTV/VMS, access control/badging) and Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to actively interact with variable shifts including weekends and holidays and respond to after-hours

incidents when needed
