Job summary

Accenture Security is seeking an experienced professional to lead controls testing and audit readiness efforts for complex IT environments. You will design and execute testing cycles, assess regulatory compliance, and help clients strengthen governance across cloud and enterprise platforms.

The role emphasizes translating regulations into actionable controls, delivering architecture guidance, and mentoring junior staff while coordinating with audit teams. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of total experience in cybersecurity, IT audit, compliance, or GRC consulting.
• Minimum 5 of years hands-on experience testing ITGCs, application controls, and regulatory controls across two major frameworks (SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CMMC, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Minimum 5 of years of technical architecture experience across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), enterprise applications, data governance, and IAM.
• Minimum 5 of years of experience with evidence management, audit artifacts, and facilitating walkthroughs with internal and external auditors.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute controls testing and audit readiness cycles across ITGCs, application controls, and regulatory controls.
• Plan and execute control testing cycles for SOX, SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, HIPAA, and other frameworks.
• Manage audit readiness programs, define remediation roadmaps, build evidence libraries, and prepare clients for internal and external audits.
• Deliver technical architecture assessments across cloud and on-premise platforms including SAP, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
• Own IAM compliance, RBAC, PAM, MFA enforcement, and access lifecycle processes for regulatory and audit requirements.
• Support GRC program delivery: policy development, risk assessments, control mapping, evidence collection, and third-party risk management.
• Mentor junior analysts and consultants; contribute to proposals, client relationships, and internal practice development.
• Travel may be required for this role; amount will vary between 0 and 100% depending on client engagement.
