Job summary

Accenture Security is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to lead controls testing and audit readiness initiatives. You will assess security and compliance posture across cloud and enterprise architectures, manage remediation roadmaps, and partner with auditors to drive evidence-based findings.

You will own IAM controls, contribute to GRC programs, and mentor junior staff, with travel as needed to client sites.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity, IT audit, or GRC consulting with at least 5 years in controls testing and audit readiness.
• Experience testing ITGCs, application controls, and regulatory controls across SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, HIPAA or similar.
• 5+ years of technical architecture experience across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and IAM systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute control testing cycles (design and operating effectiveness) across ITGCs, application, and regulatory controls.
• Assess control gaps, define remediation roadmaps, build evidence libraries, and prepare clients for internal/external audits.
• Deliver security architecture assessments across multi-platform environments (cloud, apps, data, on-prem).
• Own IAM compliance: RBAC, PAM, MFA enforcement, access certification, and joiner/mover/leaver processes.
• Support integrated GRC programs, policy development, risk assessments, and third-party risk management.
• Mentor junior analysts and participate in client relationships and proposals.
