Job summary

Securitas, Inc. in Seattle, WA is hiring a Security Command Center Operator (SCCO) to safeguard people, property and assets. You will monitor surveillance, control access, respond to incidents, and compile detailed reports using internal systems.

The role requires 1+ year of security or customer service experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and solid computer skills. Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus. Schedule is Tue-Sat, 2:00 PM–10:45 PM.

• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Log incident reports, investigation findings, shift reports, pass down logs, etc.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.

Security Command Center & Patrol Officer

Site Location: Seattle, WA

Wage: $28.90/HR

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 2pm-10:45pm

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

We are looking for an experienced Security Command Center Operator (SCCO) to join our team in Downtown Seattle. This position is responsible for finding, researching, and assessing information that could indicate a potential concern to the client, its employees, and its interests. The ideal candidate should be able to create detailed reports of incidents using internal incident management reporting systems and assist in the response to larger incidents that impact the client.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in customer service and 1+ years of experience in security required.
• Intermediate to advanced computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
