Job summary

Peraton Labs is seeking a Technical Writer to support the CETs Division on-site at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The role focuses on review, creation, and editing of technical documents, white papers, and templates with a strong emphasis on accuracy and formatting per Army/DoD guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a solid technical background and demonstrated ability to work with SMEs and government personnel to produce concise, regulatory-compliant materials and briefings.

Qualifications

• Active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite to prepare complex documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Review and edit technical documents, white papers, reports, and other deliverables for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Create, update, and maintain document templates using Microsoft 365 applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content is clear, concise, and meets standards.
• Ensure documentation adheres to CETS Division formatting and style guidelines.
• Track document revisions and maintain version control.
• Assist with organization and management of document repositories.
• Maintain document version control and compliance with Army/DoD guidelines.
• Collaborate with SMEs, engineers, and government personnel to develop documents and briefs.
• Develop, revise, and maintain policies, memorandums, SOPs, and official Army correspondence.
