Job summary

Required: eight years of TW experience and a Bachelor’s in a technical field, or four years extra experience in lieu of a degree; active TS/SCI with polygraph and U.S. citizenship. Collaboration with engineers and senior staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience as a Technical Writer in programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Four years of additional technical writing experience can substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and U.S. citizenship are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop polished executive briefs and infographics for senior leadership.
• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents for hardware/software.
• Write and edit documentation including installation, configuration and use.
• Create code documentation, implementation guides, and user manuals.
• Maintain a current internal documentation library.
• Collaborate with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials.
• Research and translate highly technical information for broad audiences.
