Job summary

Avalore, LLC is seeking a System Administrator to oversee the War Data Platform infrastructure, performing hands-on admin tasks, configuring user access, and maintaining security and reliability. The role involves monitoring, backups, automation, and documentation.

Candidates should be able to work in a dynamic environment with on-call rotations and English proficiency. Several levels are available (Junior, Journeyman, Senior) with expectations of 0–3, 4–7, and 8+ years of experience

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Bachelor’s degree required; security-related certifications may be needed for roles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-call environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and secure the War Data Platform infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and system configurations.
• Implement and maintain system monitoring tools and backup/recovery systems.
• Automate routine tasks via scripting; perform health checks; apply updates/patches.
• Document system configurations; monitor logs for performance and security issues.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 availability.
