Job summary

Avalore is seeking a System Administrator to operate and secure the War Data Platform infrastructure. The role involves hands-on admin tasks, monitoring, backups, automation, health checks, patching, and on-call support 24/7.

Strong English, self-starter mindset, and Microsoft Office skills are required. Multiple levels are open: Junior, Journeyman, and Senior, with 0–3, 4–7, and 8+ years of experience respectively, plus a Bachelor's Degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required for all levels.
• Active security clearance required or eligible (SECRET level).
• Strong communication and self-motivation essential.
• Proficient in English; able to use Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and secure the War Data Platform infrastructure on a daily basis.
• Perform hands-on system administration and manage user accounts, permissions, and configurations.
• Implement monitoring, backup/recovery, and automation of routine tasks.
• Conduct regular health checks, apply patches, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Maintain documentation, monitor logs, and participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 availability.
