Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field; 6+ or 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience as a NetApp Enterprise Storage Engineer.
• Experience managing enterprise storage for apps, cloud, and on‑premise file storage.
• Expert knowledge of NetApp Data ONTAP and ONTAP System Manager.
• Proficient with operating systems, networks, and storage technologies.
• Strong knowledge of RAID, SAN, NAS, backup, and DR solutions.
• Experience in virtual environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and administer NetApp storage environments.
• Manage provisioning, capacity, performance, availability, and lifecycle.
• Monitor health, capacity, performance; perform capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot storage incidents involving NetApp, hosts, networks, Fibre Channel.
• Perform upgrades, firmware updates, hardware refreshes, and migrations.
• Configure and maintain SVMs, volumes, aggregates, LUNs, quotas, export policies.
• Implement storage security and access controls.
• Support high availability and disaster recovery testing.
• Coordinate with server, virtualization, network, database, backup, cybersecurity teams.
• Provide technical support for escalated incidents; root cause analysis.
