Job summary

Peraton seeks a Junior Software Engineer to support an Intel Community (IC) mission in the Ft. Meade/Annapolis Junction, MD area. The Cyber Software Engineer will develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based upon documented requirements.

You will review software components, test results, resolve problem reports, and apply appropriate development methodologies. A TS SCI clearance with polygraph is required along with a CS-related degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline required.
• Four (4) years SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
• Active TS SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolve software problem reports.
• Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
