Job summary

Peraton is hiring a Software Data Engineer to join our Cyber Mission unit in Jessup, MD. This full-time role supports an enterprise-scale contract within the Intelligence Community, with on-site work at a customer location.

You will develop, maintain, and enhance AI-driven software systems, designing scalable models and tools, collaborating with stakeholders to translate mission requirements into technical solutions while supporting security clearances and mission needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or appropriate field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of demonstrated experience in Software Engineering, OR
• Master's or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or appropriate field from an accredited college or university and zero (0) years of experience, OR
• Six (6) years of Software Engineering experience with a high school diploma or GED would also be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based upon AI-related requirements.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models and tools tailored to the operational needs of the customer.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement mission requirements into technical solutions.
