Qualifications

• Active U.S. national security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Associate degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of five years in software development.
• Experience with Java, Groovy, Kotlin, or similar OOP languages.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments.
• Experience with Gradle or Maven.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement containerized web applications and services for the DoD.
• Collaborate with engineers and SMEs to sustain mission-critical software for Navy warfighters.
• Learn and contribute to development tasks in Java, Groovy, Kotlin, and front-end frameworks.
• Conduct manual and exploratory testing to ensure software quality.
• Develop and maintain test plans and traceability to requirements.
• Support automation, CI/CD, and container orchestration.
