Job summary

Peraton is seeking a seasoned Network and Systems Engineer in the United States to support cloud operations through end-to-end network engineering, architecture design, and technology integration. You will review customer requirements, design and implement network solutions, and lead SE efforts on critical national security programs.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, 20 years in Systems Engineering, and a DoD 8570/8140 certification (CISSP preferred).

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph is required.
• 20 years of Systems Engineering experience on programs of similar scope is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, CS, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline is required (Five additional years of SE experience may substitute for a degree).
• Experience supporting the customer's Mission Systems is required.
• Ability to derive system requirements from user requirements and high-level architectures.
• DoD 8570/8140 certification is required, CISSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and network teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure.
• Develop specifications and schematics for network architecture.
• Advise on hardware selection and scalable techniques to meet capacity needs.
• Demonstrate expertise across routers, firewalls, hubs, switches, and gateways.
• Design and implement failover solutions for major customers.
